Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has arrived in Florida, USA, expressing hope for meaningful and productive meetings with top Republican leaders and US officials. In a video message posted on Instagram, Vučić highlighted his anticipation of important discussions with American representatives.

During his statement, Vučić expressed deep concern over the recent attack on Patrik Drid, professor and dean at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Novi Sad, noting his sadness over the apparent impunity for the attack. He stressed the importance of the Serbian public understanding the gravity of the fight the state is waging against such incidents.

Vučić also announced a large rally organized by the Movement for the People and the State scheduled for May 17 in Niš. This event is expected to gather friends from abroad and across Serbia, particularly from Niš. He emphasized the need to demonstrate strength and determination in the pursuit of justice, adding that while victory is certain, it will neither be quick nor easy. Vučić assured that victims, including Patrik Drid, would achieve legal and political satisfaction.

Concluding his remarks, Vučić stated it was essential to unite against corrupt prosecutors and judges obstructing justice, finishing with the rallying call: “Long live Serbia!”
