From today through Sunday, the grounds of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Chicago will host a unique cultural event—SerbFest Chicago 2025.
This three-day festival offers visitors a full immersion into the spirit of Serbian tradition. Guests can enjoy performances by folk dance ensembles, live music, authentic homemade dishes, and grilled specialties, as well as family-friendly activities, cultural exhibits, guided tours of the church, and local community booths.
Festival hours are as follows:
- Friday, August 8: 4:00 p.m. – midnight
- Saturday, August 9: noon – midnight
- Sunday, August 10: noon – 9:00 p.m.
More than just a festival, SerbFest Chicago is a celebration of faith, unity, and cultural heritage. For some, it’s a return to their roots; for others, it’s a chance to discover the richness of Serbian culture for the very first time.
