Serbian Consul General in Chicago Dr. Marko Nikolić extended Easter greetings to all Serbs in America, as well as to all people of goodwill, on the greatest and most joyful Christian holiday — Easter.

Easter Greeting From the Consul General
Dear Serbs, brothers and sisters,
Ladies and gentlemen,
The time of the Easter holidays is a period of hope and joy, because it teaches us that the Risen God unites us in a lasting Community of Life. If we personally and sincerely choose that path. 
This is the defining feature of our Serbian identity and of our people through the centuries, wherever we may live. Faith in the victory of Life over death is the source of our unwavering strength, humanity, sense of justice, and survival despite all historical troubles, wounds, and divisions.
In the light of this great Holiday, in my own name and in the name of all colleagues in our Consulate, I wish you personally, your families and friends, all Serbs in America, and all people of goodwill, good health, harmony, and success in your work.
Our Homeland and Mother, the Republic of Serbia, in the depth of its heart, but also through action, as much as it can and even beyond that, will always stand behind all of us.
Christ is Risen!
