Chicago’s Serbian community and its many friends will once again have an opportunity to gather at one of the best-known celebrations of Serbian culture in the Midwest. Serb Fest Chicago 2026 will take place from August 7 through August 9 at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, offering visitors three festival days filled with tradition, music, homemade food, and community.
Redwood Drive will once again become a meeting place for different generations, families, friends, and guests interested in experiencing Serbian hospitality and discovering the rich cultural heritage of the Serbian people. The festival is designed as a major summer gathering open not only to members of the Serbian community but also to everyone looking for a memorable weekend in a welcoming atmosphere.
The Flavors of Traditional Serbian Cuisine
One of the main reasons visitors return to Serb Fest year after year is its selection of traditional food. The festival will feature homemade specialties for which Serbian cuisine is widely known, including roasted meats, ćevapi, pljeskavice, a variety of homemade savory pastries, and traditional Serbian desserts.
