Telekom Srbija plans to launch mobile services in the United States on December 1, 2026, with subscriptions starting at $29 and unlimited calls to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. The launch is subject to regulatory approval, which the company expects to receive in mid-November.
According to an announcement by CEO Vladimir Lučić, reported by Tanjug on October 14, the offering will also include access to Telekom Srbija’s television channels. Mobile services will operate on AT&T’s network.
For people living in the United States who regularly call family in Serbia, a key question is what the advertised unlimited calling will cover. The announcement does not specify whether calls to all landline and mobile numbers in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro will be included, or whether any exclusions will apply. Those details will become clear when the full plan terms are published.
Speaking on Radio Belgrade’s morning program “Jutro je” on October 20, Lučić explained that Telekom Srbija will operate in the United States as a mobile virtual network operator, using AT&T’s radio network while providing other services independently. He said the company had already installed and tested its equipment and completed its first call before applying for authorization.
The offering will primarily target people with roots in Serbia and the surrounding region. Customers will receive a U.S. phone number, and Lučić said the service will emphasize eSIM activation and television viewing through smart TVs. The company aims to reach half a million U.S. customers within three years.
