Starting this week, visitors to the Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade have the opportunity to talk to Nikola Tesla – or more precisely, to his digital twin: a chatbot that answers questions about the life, work, and inventions of one of the greatest scientists in history.
The chatbot has been introduced as part of a pilot project, serving as an experimental segment of the museum’s exhibit. The goal is to explore how modern digital technologies can enhance communication with visitors, particularly younger generations already accustomed to interacting with artificial intelligence.
The Museum of Science and Technology is the first in Serbia, and among the first in Europe, to offer such a digital experience to its audience. Visitors can access the chatbot via a QR code and are free to ask questions about Tesla’s childhood, education, scientific achievements, and inventions.
This project is part of a broader research initiative in the fields of artificial intelligence, education, and culture, and is supported by several institutions.
We invite you to visit the museum and try it yourself!
