The Serbian diaspora around the world marked 80 years since the death of General Dragoljub Draža Mihailović, commander of the Yugoslav Army in the Homeland. He was sentenced to death on July 15, 1946, and executed two days later. The location of his execution has never been established, and his remains have never been found.
Memorial services and commemorations for General Draža were held across the United States and Canada, as well as in Australia and at Hilandar Monastery.
Memorial Held at St. Sava Monastery in Libertyville
A memorial service was held in the courtyard of St. Sava Monastery in Libertyville, near Chicago, beside the monument dedicated to Čiča Draža. Members of the Organization of Serbian Chetniks “Ravna Gora – Chicago” also attended the service. 
In addition to organizing commemorations for General Draža, the organization is dedicated to preserving the tradition of the Ravna Gora Movement and carrying out humanitarian work.
Memorial Service Also Held at Hilandar Monastery
A memorial service was also held at the Holy Imperial Serbian Lavra of Hilandar. It was attended by numerous pilgrims, as well as representatives of the Ravna Gora Movement’s municipal committees from Leskovac, Lebane, and Dadince.
