Tesla Day 2026 in the Vučjanka River Canyon

Tesla Day 2026 in Leskovac brought together experts, lecturers, and admirers of Tesla’s work in the Vučjanka River canyon.

The traditional cultural-scientific event “Tesla Day” was held on July 10, 2026, at Tesla Park – the Vučje Hydroelectric Power Plant in the canyon on the Vučjanka River, as well as at the Tesla Center in Leskovac. The event was organized by the Association “Tesla Tower in Serbia” and the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Leskovac, with significant support from the City of Leskovac.

An association dedicated to preserving Tesla’s legacy

The Association “Tesla Tower in Serbia” has been actively working for years on the promotion and preservation of Nikola Tesla’s scientific and cultural heritage. The association organizes numerous educational and cultural events across Serbia, with a special focus on Leskovac and its surroundings.

Their goal is the construction of a Tesla Tower and a Tesla Center in Serbia, which would serve as a symbol of modern Serbia, a place for promoting science, educating young people, and developing tourism.

The association is also engaged in popularizing Tesla’s inventions and ideas, including the application of high-frequency currents in medicine and health, as well as encouraging the innovative spirit that Tesla left as a legacy. Thanks to their work and cooperation with local institutions, Tesla Day in Leskovac has become one of the most significant events of its kind in Serbia.

Support from the City of Leskovac and a large gathering

This year, the event was held under the patronage of the City of Leskovac, which provided support in the organization and implementation of the program. The gathering brought together numerous guests, experts, engineers, science enthusiasts, and admirers of Nikola Tesla’s work.

Milena Šović on artificial intelligence

As part of the program, lectures were delivered by AI engineer Milena Šović and mechanical engineer Radomir Putnik, a long-time collaborator of the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade.

Milena Šović, the author of the interactive chatbot “Nikola Tesla”, spoke on the topic “Artificial Intelligence and the Nikola Tesla Chatbot.” She presented how the chatbot was created, what technologies are behind it, and how this modern tool can bring the life and work of Nikola Tesla closer to new generations.

Special emphasis was placed on the educational potential of the chatbot and its possible application in schools and public events. The lecture was accompanied by a presentation that allowed the audience to see live how the chatbot functions and answers questions about Tesla’s life and discoveries.

Radomir Putnik on Tesla’s principles in medicine

Radomir Putnik, who has been collaborating with the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade for many years, gave a lecture on the application of Tesla’s inventions and principles in medicine. As an expert who personally builds replicas of Tesla’s exhibits and devices, Putnik shared his extensive experience in reconstructing Tesla’s ideas and their practical application. His presentation was particularly interesting because it demonstrated how Tesla’s principles can still be used today in modern medical and technical solutions.

Who attended the event

In addition to the lecturers, the event was attended by representatives of scientific and professional associations, members of the Regional Center for Young Talents “Nikola Tesla” from Belgrade, local engineers and technicians, as well as numerous enthusiasts and admirers of Tesla’s work from Leskovac and the surrounding area.
